Applicable to lead contents in the range 0.0005 to 0.05% (m/m).

This Subsection of BS 6200 describes a spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of lead in steel.

The method is applicable to lead contents from 0.0005 % (m/m) to 0.05 % (m/m).
