Defines general requirements for unglazed spectacle frames to be used with all prescription lenses, tinted and untinted, and applies to frames at the point of sale to the retailer. Applies to all types of spectacle frames, including rimless and semi-rimless, folding and those made from natural organic materials. Does not apply to products which are especially designed for provision of personal eye protection.
