Describes the design and use of precast concrete cladding in the form of: an applied facing held to a solid background by mechanical means, units supported by the structural frame of the building, and permanent formwork held mechanically to a background of in-situ concrete. Loadbearing cladding or cladding held only be adhesion is not included, nor is any type of cladding supported or held in position around the perimeter of cladding units by metal framing.
