This part of IEC 60335 deals with the safety of electric animal-stunning equipment the rated voltage of which is not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances.

Deals with the safety of electric animal-stunning equipment, These are for inductrial or commercial use, on farms or in areas where they may be a source of danger to the public. The standard covers manual, semi-automatic and automatic equipment. For electric fence energizers, see EN 60335-2-76. For electric fishing machines, see EN 60335-2-86.
