This standard deals with the erection, moving to another position, provision, maintenance, operation and dismantling of all road safety equipment, such as traffic signs, traffic installations and portable (temporary) concrete or steel road safety barriers, for the control, guidance and protection of traffic on public roads within the scope of the Straßenverkehrsordnung (German Highway Code – StVO), that are necessary to carry out construction works of any type.
