Gives methods for determining the density of bitumen, bituminous binders and special coal tar pitch products, excluding emulsions. The pycnometer method can be used for binders such as bitumen, flux bitumen, road tar, cutback bitumen and cold pitch solutions. The Maass method is suitable for bitumen only.
