Document which describes the methods of preparing specimens of determining characteristic properties re- PVC-U moulding materials as in DIN 7748 Part One, also other properties aimed of achieving mainly reproducible results when properties are measured. Properties of products made of such materials are influenced with the moulding type of material used, re the design of the component and final condition of these products, in turn dependent on the conditions of the manufacturing and type of subsequent treatment applied. The values obtained by using these methods of test set out in the document - only applicable to specimens of the form specified, prepared as specified but not specimens which are of different dimensions/prepared by different procedures.
