Dieser Teil der IEC 61202 gilt für Isolatoren, die im Bereich der Lichtwellenleiteroptik angewendet werden und alle die folgenden allgemeinen Eigenschaften besitzen: -sie sind nicht umkehrbare optische Bauelemente, bei denen alle Anschlüsse entweder LWL-Fasern oder LWL-Steckverbinder sind; -sie sind passive Bauelemente, die keine optoelektronischen oder anderen umsetzenden Elemente enthalten; -sie haben zwei optische Anschlüsse für eine gerichtete Übertragung der optischen Leistung. Diese Norm legt einheitliche Anforderungen fest für: - Anforderungen an Lichtwellenleiter- Isolatoren.
