A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Specifies the materials, aspects of manufacture, inspection and testing of seamless steel tubes used both in the construction of new and replacement feed-water heaters on the high pressure side of the boiler feed pump. Except where modified by this standard all tubing shall be in accordance with BS 3606.
