Defines basic requirements for anaesthetic gas scavenging (AGS) disposal systems. Intends to ensure the safe operation of anaesthetic gas scavenging systems (AGSS). Comprises three main parts, the disposal system, receiving system and the transfer system. Test procedures and specifications are given to ensure compatibility between the systems components. Shows a schematic diagram of typical anaesthetic gas scavenging systems.
