A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Applicable to motor contactors having the following characteristics: rated voltage 380 V (415 V) three phase alternating current of 50 Hz frequency; a life of one million electrical operations at a rate which can be, for example, 120 operations per hour for category AC3 according to IEC 60158-1 (1970); a power not exceeding 11 kW.
