La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode par spectrométrie d'émission atomique par plasma à couplage inductif (ICP-OES) pour la détermination directe de la teneur en éléments dans l'éthanol, les teneurs notamment en phosphore, dans la plage comprise entre (0,13 et 1,90) mg/kg, en cuivre, dans la plage comprise entre (0,050 et 0,300) mg/kg, et en soufre, dans la plage comprise entre (2,0 et 15,0) mg/kg.
