La présente Norme européenne fournit des recommandations pour évaluer les modifications des caractéristiques hydromorphologiques des rivières décrites dans l'EN 14614. La norme permet une caractérisation généralisée et cohérente surtout un large spectre de modifications hydromorphologiques affectant les chenaux des rivières, les berges, les zones riveraines et les plaines d'inondation.
