Le présent document spécifie les performances des émetteurs de radiodiffusion sonore à modulation de fréquence en ondes métriques fonctionnant dans la bande de fréquences comprise entre 87,5 MHz et 108 MHz et modulés conformément aux prescriptions de la Recommandation 450-1 du CCIR, qui occupent une place particulière dans le spectre des fréquences radioélectriques. Il traite des signaux monophoniques, des signaux stéréophoniques et couvre également l'émission de signaux supplémentaires décrits dans la Recommandation 450-1 du CCIR et/ou dans la NF EN 50067.
