Le présent document décrit une méthode permettant de déterminer la teneur en pentachlorophénol (PCP) dans les bois. Cette méthode est applicable à un bois traité ou non traité, et à un produit à base de bois. Ce document s'applique dans la limite de quantification de cette méthode correspondant à 60 mu g de PCP par kilogramme de bois. L'intervalle de mesure monte jusqu'à 1,6 mg/kg de bois. Ces données font référence à l'exemple donné ici (où une aliquote de 5 ml de l'extrait est utilisée pour l'acétylation).
