Le présent document spécifie certaines caractéristiques et performances des dispositifs d'épuration de l'air montés dans ou sur les cabines de tracteurs agricoles et d'engins agricoles automoteurs de façon à assurer la protection des opérateurs vis-à-vis des poussières et des produits phytosanitaires. Il précise les méthodes d'essai permettant de mesurer les performances de ces dispositifs. Ni la durabilité des performances dans le temps, ni les conditions d'installation dans ou sur la cabine, ne sont traitées dans le présent document. L'évaluation de l'efficacité de la protection de l'opérateur vis-à-vis des poussières et des produits phytosanitaires nécessite de prendre en compte les exigences de la partie 2 du présent document.
