Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm legt das Laborprüfverfahren zur Ermittlung der Luftschalldämmeigenschaften von Lärmschutzwänden an Strassen fest. Er ist bei der Beurteilung der produktspezifischen Luftschalldämm-Eigenschaften derjenigen Lärmschutzeinrichtungen an Strassen, die in der in prEN 20140-3 beschriebenen Prüfeinrichtungen errichtet werden, anzuwenden. Diese Norm befasst sich nicht mit der Bestimmung der (anwendungsorientierten) In-situ-Eigenschaften.
