Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt die Anforderungen an den Bau, die Sicherheit, die Funktion und die Prüfmethoden fest sowie die Einteilung und die Kennzeichnung von Brennstoffzellen-Gasheizgeräten, die überwiegend wärmegeführt betrieben werden und die folgenden Grenzbedingungen einhalten: * maximale Wärmebelastung (Gaszufuhr): 70 kW; * maximale elektrische Ausgangsleistung: 11 kW. * Brennstoff: Brenngas nach EN 437; * maximale Heizwassertemperatur: 95 grad C (unter normalen Betriebsbedingungen); * Prozessdrücke im Brennstoffzellen-Gasgerät: * Heizwasser: max. 6 bar; * Heisswasser für den häuslichen Gebrauch (falls eingebaut): max. 10 bar; * Bauweise des Gerätes: nach den Darstellungen von CEN/TR 1749, EN 483 oder EN 297 (B22, B23, B32, B33, C12, C13, C32, C33, C42, C43, C52, C53, C62, C63, C82, C83). Diese Norm gilt nur für Baumusterprüfungen. In dieser Europäischen Norm sind keine notwendigen Anforderungen für Geräte, die elektrische Energie ohne thermische Energie erzeugen, enthalten.
