This specification covers the general requirements for aluminum and aluminum alloy plate and sheet. Specific requirements for plate and sheet of a particular alloy are covered by the applicable detail specification (See 6.3).1.2 Classification:1.2.1 Tempers: The plate and sheet are classified in tempers as specified in the detail specification.Definitions of tempers are specified in American National Standards ANSI H35.1.
