A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Not intended to supersede or replace any government specification, airworthiness regulation or specified manufacturer's instruction relating to electrical system design or maintenance. Takes precedence in the event of conflict between this version of one or more of the above documents. Applicable specifically to 28 VDC and 115/200 VAC electrical systems, ie those parts of an aircraft which generate, store, distribute and utilize electrical energy, including support, attachments and interconnecting wiring.
