It concerns ultrasonic control for the detection of longitudinal defects on pipes of non-alloy steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel and titanium alloys, seamless or welded, for nuclear uses, with the exception of sheath tubes for fuel bars (list of materials for which this standard covers the requirements contained in the code asme II part a ferrous materials summer 83).
