Defines a basis for determining the magnetic content of abrasive grain used in the manufacture of grinding wheels, coated abrasive products, general polishing, and other general industrial uses such as pressure blasting, wire sawing, lithoplate graining, etc. It is intended to serve as a common basis of understanding for abrasive grain producers, and for manufacturers, distributors, and users of these abrasive products.
