Relates to belting for use on conveyors using flat idlers, troughed idlers or slide bed, and also for use on bucket elevators. Classified according to covers coded as abrasion resistant, static electricity conducting, fire resistant, general purpose, and static electricity conducting and fire resistant. Construction, dimensions and tolerances, tensile properties, properties of covers, properties of carcass, cover and ply adhesion, troughability, electrical resistance, fire resistance, sampling and marking are specified. Test methods are those in AS 1334.
