Applies to threaded brass hose couplings used for connecting a hose to the tap and to the watering device, including stationary, hand-held and mobile types of sprays. It covers couplings in the range 12 to 32 mm nominal size and those used both for rubber hose and plastics hose. The object of the Standard is to improve interchangeability of watering devices by reducing the number of thread forms used.
