Specifies requirements for copper alloy screw-down pattern draw-off taps and delivery taps with loose jumper valves, in a range of nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 50 inclusive with continuous working pressures not exceeding 1.4 MPa and continuous operating temperatures not exceeding 95 degrees Celsius.

This Standard specifies requirements for copper alloy screw-down pattern taps and tapsets which incorporate loose jumper valves, in a range of nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 50 inclusive with continuous working pressures not exceeding 1.4 MPa and continuous working temperatures not exceeding 95C.It also specifies requirements for outlets which are an integral part of a tap or mixing tap and the requirements for tapset breaching piece assemblies.Outlets which are a removable part of a tap or mixing tap are currently not covered by this Standard but are likely to become part of this Standard from 1st January 1994.
