Specifies a procedure to test the defrosting method or refrigerated display cabinets when tested at the same conditions as those specified for the temperature test (AS/NZS1731.5). This test is not applicable to cabinets for parts of cabinets intended to be defrosted manually.

1.1 Scope of StandardThis Standard specifies terminology, general mechanical and physical requirements, test conditions as well as installation and maintenance, including a user’s guide, for refrigerated display cabinets for the sale or display, or both, of food products.
