Proposes procedures for the selection, placement and fixing of Class 1 particleboard flooring complying with AS/NZS1860.1. Appendices propose check lists for areas of supervision, recommendations for subfloor ventilation, and recommendations on installation procedures for particleboard flooring for general domestic applications.

This Standard sets out procedures for the selection, placement and fixing of Class 1 particleboard flooring complying with AS/NZS 1860.1. This Standard does not cover waterproofing procedures necessary for wet area rooms. Wet area rooms are covered by AS 3740.
