Specifies requirements for smooth-surfaced or embossed PVC floor tiles filled or reinforced to provide a semi-rigid hardness. Requirements for colour, dimensions, indentation, deflection, impact resistance to various substances and to moisture movement are included.

This standard specifies requirements for smooth-surfaced or embossed semi-rigid homogeneous PVC floor tiles. It does not apply to floor tiles of laminated construction.NOTES:1. Appendix A sets out a summary of the limits applying to semi-rigid PVC floor tiles tested for compliance with this standard.2. Advisory information on the determination of compliance of a 'lot' with this standard is given in Appendix B.
