Specifies requirements for glass measures of the tumbler and conical form including - accuracy of calibration markings, freedom from stress, transparency, permanence of markings, resistance to thermal shock, and soundness of packaging. Provides procedures for testing compliance of essential specifications with a view to assessing suitability of the measures for SAA certification.

This standard specifies requirements for two types of glass medicine measure-one of tumbler form and one of conical form.NOTE: Pediatric droppers are not manufactured from glass.
