Specifies requirements for plastics measures of the tumbler, conical and dropper forms as may be used within the domestic environment - not being subjected to high temperature autoclaving/sterilization procedures. Specifications include accuracy of calibration markings, transparency, permanence of markings, resistance to mechanical shock and resistance to dishwasher cleaning. Provides procedures for testing compliance with a view to assessing suitability for SAA certification.

This standard specifies requirements for three types of plastics medicine measures-tumbler, conical and dropper.
