Specifies and illustrates the design and use both of flags to identify the area on surfing beaches supervised and/or patrolled by lifesavers, and of symbol signs which may be used to indicate when and where various water sports are prohibited or allowed, and to warn the public of hazards or hazardous conditions. The signs are indexed in the Standard, illustrated in colour and their functions and fields of application clearly defined. Artwork for each sign is available in single sheet or bromide form, price on application.
