Lists and defines the characteristics, methods of measurement and equipment necessary to determine the mechanical properties of magnetic recording tape. It applies to non-perforated magnetic tapes used for recording professional and domestic sound and its reproduction. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 94-4:1986.
