Sets out recommended design practice for the laying of precast concrete drainage pipes. It includes methods for calculating loads on pipes according to installation conditions, and gives the corresponding load factors. The code is intended primarily for use in association with AS A35, Precast Concrete Drainage Pipes, but may also be used for the calculation of loads on other rigid pipes. It does not deal with loads transmitted to pipes by water under pressure.
