Describes the sequence of operations necessary to ensure satisfactory sanding of strip and parquetry wooden floors. Two grades of finish are provided for strip floors and one for parquetry floors. Reference is included to uneven or hard floors, even or mild floors and boundary and inaccessible areas. The grades of abrasive to be used are specified. The Code does not cover finishing treatments, but some general guidance is given in an appendix. Also appended is a brief glossary of terms used in floor sanding.
