Specifies the particular safety requirements for electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring equipment, excluding certain types of ambulatory and telemetric devices. This Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS 3200.1.0-1990, and is technically equivalent to IEC 601-2-27:1994. It includes Appendix ZZ, which details variations to the application of the Standard in Australia and New Zealand.
