Descrbes a test to determine the ignition temperature of a vapour or chemically pure gas in air, at atmospheric pressure. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 60079-4:1975, its Amendment 1:1995 and IEC 60079-4A:1970.

This method of test is intended for use in the determination of the ignition temperature of a chemically pure vapour or gas in air at atmospheric pressure
