Covers condensers and graduated receivers for the determination of water content by the Dean and Stark method of distillation with an immiscible liquid. Specifies 5 sizes of the ordinary type of receiver, for use with light liquids such as petroleum spirit and toluene, and 2 sizes of a modified type for use with heavier liquids such as trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene. Some sizes are provided with stopcocks and with alternative connections (ground glass joints or corks) to the distillation vessel.
