CONTAINED IN VOL 03.04, 2005 Describes conforming requirements for flat-rolled non-oriented semiprocessed electrical steel. The steel is made to defined maximum core-loss values and is for commercial power frequency applications (50 and 60-Hz) in magnetic devices. Desired core-loss and permeability features are developed by the purchaser through heat treatment.
