1.1 This specification covers types of gypsum base that are designed to be used as a base for application of veneer plaster (see Specification C 587).

Note 1—Specification C 843 contains application procedures for gypsum veneer plaster, and Specification C 844 contains application procedures for gypsum base for veneer plaster.
