A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

CONTAINED IN VOL: 06.02 2000 Describes an accelerated method for determination of the relative disbonding characteristics of electrically insulating coating systems when applied to steel pipe exteriors. The coating is applied in order to prevent or to mitigate corrosion occurring in underground service. Pipe may be subject to elevated temperatures while under cathodic protection. Meant to be used with samples of coated pipe taken from commercial production and applies to such samples when the coating functions as an electrical barrier.
