A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Investigates pavement surface frictional and polishing characteristics in laboratory using small torque device. Specimens 8 to 10 in. (203 to 254 mm) in diameter may be tested. Withdrawn in 1985 without replacement.
