Bibliography

Describes requirements and test methods for special fire detectors, other than fire detectors covered by EN 54-1, used in Carbon dioxide-, Inert gas- or Halocarbon gas and other fire extinguishing systems.

This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for for special fire detectors, other than fire detectors covered by EN 54, used inert gas- or halo-carbon-gas fire extinguishing systems. Special fire detectors are heat sensitive devices, including a mounting device, designed to react at a predetermined temperature by: - bursting of a glass bulb; - melting of a fusible element.
