Annex B (informative) Bibliography

Defines functional and technical features of air temperature recorders for equipping the means employed for storing, transporting, and distributing frozen, chilled and deep-frozen food and ice-cream. Covers procedures to determine the conformity of the equipment to suitability and performance criteria. The whole recorder-temperature sensor(s) are covered. Temperature sensor(s) can be integrated into a recorder or remote from it. The location of the recorder and sensors in relation to usage, such as storage, transport and distribution are not specified.

This European Standard specifies the technical and functional characteristics ofair temperature recorders for equipping the means used for the transport, storage and distribution of chilled, frozen and deep-frozen/quick-frozen food and ice cream. It specifies the test methods which allow the determination of the equipment\'s conformity to suitability and performance requirements. It applies to the whole recorder-temperature sensor(s).
