Gives recommendations and requirements for practical implementation for evaluating software products when several groups need to accept, trust and understand results. It can be used for applying concepts as detailed in ISO/IEC 9126. This process specifies activities required to analyse evaluation requirements, to design, specify and perform actions and conclude evaluation of any type of software product. Can be used to evaluate existing products, if the components are available. Users may be software suppliers, acquirers, users, testing laboratory evaluators and certification bodies.
