Bibliography

Deals with the safety of hand-held motor-operated or magnetically driven electric tools. The rated voltage of the tools is not more than 250 V for single-phase a.c. or d.c. and 440 V for three-phase a.c. tools. Covers tools with an electric heating element. Also covers hand-held tools which can be mounted on a support for use as fixed tools. Applies to reciprocating saws such as jig saws and sabre saws.

DevelopmentNote
Also numbered as UL 60745-2-11. Supersedes CSA C22.2.745.2.11 and CSA C22.2.745.4.11. (05/2004) Amendment 1 is available separately, see CSA C22.2.60745.2.11A. (05/2009)
