Proposes the adoption of ISO 9626:1991 as an Australian Standard to specify the dimensions, surface and mechanical properties of normal- and thin-walled tubing of designated metric size 3.4 mm to 0.3 mm, and of extra-thin-walled tubing of designated metric sizes 2.1 mm to 0.6 mm. Applies to rigid stainless steel needle tubing for use in manufacture of hypodermic needles and other medical devices primarily for human use. Copies of ISO 9629:1991 may be purchased from, or viewed at, any Standards Australia office.
