Proposes the adoption of ISO 11654:1997 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Stanadrd to provide a method by which the frequency-dependant values of the sound absorption coefficient can be converted into a single number. Copies of ISO 11654 may be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia offices or Standards New Zealand.
