Buried corrugated metal structures Part 1: Design methods
Superseded date

06-30-2017

Published date

04-30-2010

Sets out requirements for the design of buried corrugated metal structures. Design methods are predicated on the interaction of the structure and its soil envelope and are based on ring compression and buckling failure modes. Correct installation of the surrounding fill is essential to the method. Information is given on durability and on testing to establish design properties. Proposed as an Australian/New Zealand Standard.
