Proposes procedures for conditioning samples and specimens of textile materials prior to testing. Four procedures are specified, i.e. a standard reference procedure, a procedure for relatively dry material, a procedure which may be used when there is a high rate of routine testing, and a procedure when conditioning is required rapidly.
