Proposes general requirements and schedules for regular inspection, pressure testing, recharging and general servicing of portable fire extinguishers. Levels of maintenance are on a time-lapse basis and range, dependent on extinguisher type, from 6-monthly to 6-yearly inspections. In addition, a table for inspection and servicing is included for extinguishers located in aggressive environments.
